cathoholic_anonymous 1
According to this, I am a 'daily rosary' (very traditional) Catholic. Personally I think the second category ('divine office' Catholic) sounds much more like me. What scores do you all get? shortnun 1
You scored 70, on a scale of 0 to 100. Here's how to interpret your score: 0 - 35 You are a Centering Prayer (very progressive) Catholic. More about you. 26 - 50 You are an Ignatian Exercises (moderately progressive) Catholic. More about you. 51 - 75 You are a Divine Office (moderately traditional) Catholic. More about you. 76 - 100 You are a Daily Rosary (very traditional) Catholic. More about you.
After I read the descriptions, I'm more Ignatian, even if I do go to a Dominican school. :
AlterDominicus 2
You Are a Divine Office (Moderately Traditional) Catholic The Second Vatican Council was much needed, as far as you're concerned, but you see no reason to push the church further in the direction of change, as many progressives urge. You like the dynamic combination of the traditional approach toward doctrine with the opening of the church to the world that Pope John Paul II (your favorite pope) represented. As far as liturgy is concerned, a reverent Mass in the vernacular is your favorite, as is a vernacular hymn with a feeling for the transcendent such as "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence." When Nicole Kidman returned to her childhood Catholicism and regular Mass attendance, you were thrilled LOL. Alot of that is true...hahahaha.
onlygrace08 0
It said I am a Daily Rosary Catholic as well. But, some of the questions were hard to answer. I wanted to answer two or three of them on some, and others, I'm thinking, "well, what does the church teach? Because, I don't know".
awyers 31
" You scored 96, on a scale of 0 to 100" ....guess that makes me very much a daily Rosary Catholic lol :
melikalani 0
I'm a Daily Rosary Catholic, too. 91/100 I thought the supposed 'Favorites' sidebar on the results page was interesting:
Favorite Catholic Movie: Very Traditional: "The Passion of the Christ" Moderately Traditional: "Black Robe" Moderately Progressive: "The Mission" Very Progressive: "Dead Man Walking" Favorite Catholic Actor: Very Traditional: Mel Gibson Moderately Traditional: Nicole Kidman Moderately Progressive: Martin Sheen Very Progressive: Tim Robbins Favorite Apparition of the Madonna Very Traditional: Our Lady of Fatima Moderately Traditional: Our Lady of Guadalupe Moderately Progressive: The Madonna of the Streets Very Progressive: Madonna
be_thou_my_vision 149
I am a Daily Rosary... a 78 though, and it cuts off at 76, so I guess I'm right on the bubble.
Tindomiel 0
I'm a 98 - but after reading the descriptions, I'd have to say that I'm more of a Divine Office Catholic.... they make the Daily Rosary Catholics sound rather ultra-traditionalist. Plus I love Our Lady of Guadalupe and dislike Mel Gibson...
philothea 20
98/Daily Rosary (very traditional) Catholic, too. I suppose.

my EVERYTHING! 0
I'm a Daily Rosary Catholic - it seems to me though that I'm more of a Divine Office Catholic (what's more, I used to pray it six times a day, and was never much of a Daily Rosary person). idontknow.gif Maybe I'm both - daily rosary and Divine Office? stlmom 29
I agree I would have liked to choose more than 1 answer to some--I'm squarely in the Divine Office camp .
N/A Gone 13
I didnt like the answer available for like 3 of them, But, I scored a 90... weird, considering I feel not-completely catholic and often torn evangelically.
xTrishaxLynnx 851
I scored 86 out of 100, so according to the quiz that puts me in the Daily Rosary (Very Traditional) Catholic category. Personally I think I fit the Divine Office (moderately traditional) Catholic category description much better.
HeavenlyCalling 0
Daily Rosary here too! The thing is, I could do so much more, is there a harder test? :
