The way I see it, I take care of Jimmy's five children and he takes care of me. IF he doesn't, I have nothing for the kids. Jimmy gives to me and I take care of everyone. A real man, father of five, doesn't spend so beaver dam much time thinking about his own needs. He's more concerned that his children's needs are met and that his wife is well enough, mentally and physically, to care for them. Your husband needs real problems ----. Like we had. When his wife is bedridden for a year, or he sustains an injury that requires 18 months of rehab, he'll shut the floopy up about you not being pleasant enough to come home to. Love, Kathy

But back to what's happening with [url="http://www.directionforourtimes.com/"]Direction For Our Times[/url], there are a few upcoming Eucharistic Days of Renewal in the US and Ireland, one at Rosary Hill (home of the [url="http://www.sistersop.com/"]Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception[/url]) in Justice, IL July 12th (with a Re-Charge Youth event, July 11th) and other at Holy Trinity Abbey in Co. Cavan, Ireland, August 16th.

Last year at the Eucharistic Day of Renewal in February, Anne spoke of this grace of clarity that Our Lord is desiring to give, and about this Norbertine Abbey in Co. Cavan, Ireland. Thanks for posting. I didn't know a lot about this. Mom bought some of the "Heaven Speaks" books when we were at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville this year. They have them in the gift shop there (there are so many!) I was a little confused because I hadn't ever heard of Anne, but now ... I have. I'll have to flip through those little books again. thanks for these posts! I must say, I'm not a big fan of "private revelations..." because of the fear of being mislead and people putting priority on these messages even above what the Gospel already tells us. But from your posts, I can see there is truly something to be said of this apostolate, and I am grateful for this information. Most especially, because I will be entering the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, God willing, by years end, and I really trust them as I know them to be a community completely obedient to the Magisterium and the Church. They wouldn't even get near this if it didn't have the approval from the Church!

Also, I just visited a really beautiful & traditional community [mod][/mod] who have several of Anne's books and really like them. One especially loved [i]The Mist of Mercy[/i]. It was such a joy to talk with them about this. I was surprised they had even heard of her - pretty nifty. God bless!

is there an official statement by the bishop or diocese? not a letter from a parish priest? nevermind, i re-read your post.

again, Catholics are under no obligation to accept any private revelation. i've read some of the books, and am uneasy about them. but, alas, being pregnant, don't ask me what bothered me, as it's been so long ago, and i have pregnancy induced amnesia.
