Chris Cornell has an interesting story, he was raised catholic, but parents got divorced and he suffered horrible depression. I dont know much beyond that. I read somewhere that the song above was about Christ in the garden the night before his death. I dunno I had a friend make a report citing audioslave as the devil, or writing from the devil's position in a sort-of regretful tone. It was sarcastic, but interesting. I'm not saying one way or the other right now, because I dont know what he is intending by some of these words (Nail in my hand/ from my creator/ you gave me life/ now show me how to live) (is this a cure or is it a disease.) I dont know what his intentions are with the song, but for me it makes sense. "Christ, you died for me. I see that. now show me how I can live" makes sense?
