Janana8706
I know that a priest must purify the challice after each Mass. Are they allowed to wash them (w/ soad and water) after all of the Masses for the weekend?? We were talking about this at one of my bible studies and no one seemed to know, but I got the impresstion they weren't and that just dind't make sense. I figured after they were purified and all of the precious blood was out, they could sanitize them w/ at least dish soap and wather. Jen
Pio Nono
JMJ 2/28 - First Wednesday of Lent Janana8706, So long as the chalice has already been purified, it can be washed after each Mass. There's no problem with that. Hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
