Black Robe

Didymus, have no worries it appears they've slightly changed the name The Thirsting

I remembered reading this post trying to learn of new bands and was aware they're from my town so when I finally heard about them again I asked and found the site.

I absolutely love this guy!! listen to the song on his purevolume - you won't regret it!
you can buy his cds online and find them at some Catholic stores (at least, at the one near my house...)

and didymus, do you know how I can get Seven Sorrow's music? I can listen to it on myspace, but I don't know where to find it. :(

my bad on Matt Maher :pinch:

with regards to Seven Sorrows, I am getting both excited and anxious after looking at their site recently. It appears Ryan is gone and they have a new lead guitarist, while they're still looking for another guitar player.

We use to be able to download the music off the site right here:
www.sevensorrows.com and then go to the music page

but it appears those are no longer hard downloads. I remember them saying they probably wouldn't keep their old stuff, but I don't think they'd just oust em from the site. The other way people use to get the album is just by sending them a donation (shipping included) with your address and they'd send you a copy. I actually haven't been able to contact Mike recently for other business, so I'm getting really eager to hear what they have in store.

Pretty sweet Christian band out of North Carolina. I found them on the upcoming band list (or some kinda list) for Cornerstone '07.

Does anyone know anything about this band? Some of the stuff there doesn't look quite right, but their first album sounds cool - I am the thorn: You are the Lamb.

This may look like a young band, but after listening to them, I was amazed at how good their sound is. The guitar riffs were simply awesome and the drumming was mindblowing. I'll be seeing these guys live in a couple of weeks and I can't lie, I'm pretty psyched about it.

Check em out on Pure Volume too

well, it's been awhile!

Metatrone
Metal/Progressive

Crunchy guitar. Screaming Italian Bruce Dickinson vocals. Catholic undertones. It doesn't get much better. Vocals aside, they sound kinda like Children of Bodom, so if that's your sound, this is your band.
