I was hoping that some of you may know if any of the religious orders/communities/congregations you have contacted offer Perpetual Prayer Enrollments for Families or Individuals. They are very good about offering to have Masses said on various solemnities, etc.; LillyofsaintMaria, you might want to get on their mailing list. alicemary Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I must be living under a rock, I have never seen nor heard of prayer clothes! Is this a regional thing? AS to sacramentals, I know that many monasteries make lovely little woven sacramenals. The Dominican Nuns of the Perpetual Rosaary make them with pieces of blessed rose in them. And they don't cost no $13. Wow those prayer clothes are expensive! If you contact me off line, I could send you one. Alicemary
Totus Tuus Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I just got information from The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal on Perpetual Enrollments. I don't know much about the organization, but it is very inexpensive; for $10 the person (living or deceased) whom you enroll participates in the 2,500 Masses offered annually for their intentions. I'm enrolling someone I know today... it sounds like a good deal! I have also done enrollments with the Society of the Little Flower, which seems to work very well and is fairly inexpensive.
