They kept my uncle on life support until his youngest son was able to get home from college. Then they pulled the plug at 6:00 PM on Tuesday. The viewing was last night and his funeral is later today. There was over a thousand signatures in the guest book last night. There were hundreds more that left before they could even get to the door. Needless to say the whole family is in shock and no one saw this coming. As if matters could be any more tragic, he shot himself on my cousin's (his son's) birthday. Any prayers and petitions for God's infinite mercy are sincerely appreciated. Prayers for the family and especially for my cousin who has the undeserved burden of having to remember his father's suicide every year on his birthday.
