Sojourner Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007
That Matt Damon is so hot right now.
I hear he's into break-dance fighting.
White Knight Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I liked the third one better than the second, but the Third still cannot beat the first.
abercius24 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007
if that's the Bruce Willis movie where he
............................... ....................................
, then yeah, I saw it. I actually really liked that movie. I'd recommend it to anyone if you haven't seen it.
Looks like the mods took you to town, Didymus! Lol!
Sojourner Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 In all seriousness this was one of the best movies I saw all summer.
IcePrincessKRS Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I never watched the first two (Matt watched them without me ) but I saw this one and I really liked it. Did anyone else notice that in the flashbacks
his dog-tags identify him as a Catholic? That makes me wish I knew more about his real identity. Do the books go into more detail on that? I may have to get them....
littleflower+JMJ Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 thank you guys for using the spoiler feature lol i'm hoping to see it soon and i'm still checking in on this thread
abercius24 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Well, I was truly the greatest movie ever! Let me tell you why. First,
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
And then
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
But I have to that when
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
it was really disappointing. That was totally made up by
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
So in the end, it was an excellent movie! God bless,
Steve S. -- abercius24 aka the Mondo-Spoiler
I hate coming into threads and having a movie spoiled for me.... especially when I was really looking forward to watching it. So I wouldn't want to do that to anyone else.
Seven77 Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Awesome movie! Wow! Best of the 3! Dopest action sequences i've ever seen! That dude is slick.
The cellphone tactics and directing the reporter's steps, calling the police in Madrid and the whole "if you were in your office we'd be having this conversation face to face" thing----classic! Bourne's Catholic too! i loved the bookend finish of this: the first movie begins with a seemingly dead guy in the water--the third one ends that way! That scene where that girl Nicky is cutting and rinsing her dyed hair almost was the same scene as the girl in the first. Almost cause nothing happened. It's almost a reversal: he said "it's better this way" and tells her go all because it'll save her life. About learning who he is--I think Stephen Greydanus said it best: "The Bourne Ultimatum furthers Bourne’s moral trajectory as he struggles not only to discover who he was, but also to decide who he ought to be."
Very refreshing to see that movies like this are made. Dope!
Matt1618 Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 The 3rd was great, but I liked the first a little better. The 2nd wasnt that good in my opinion. I wonder when the next one will come out. Im currently reading the book, Its called "The Bourne Betrayal." BTW the soundtrack is pretty good, there is that fast paced tune, which is basically the theme, I love that.
eperez874 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 finally finished the hole series it was really good. the best part is when he jumps and apperently looks dead but then >>> HE IS STILL ALIVE!!!!! i really enjoyed the action another part that let me whith, what is going to happen? is when the indian trys to kill the other girl and bourn is jumping on roof tops that is really good but my number one scene is when he quote "do you know why do you kill, you nor even know what you are killing for. stop and give what you get!" and then jumps.
Sojourner Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 The books do go into a lot more detail about him and his history.
