I'm not sure what my problem is then... My calculus teacher says that my confidence (:idontknow:) could be a turn-off to immature guys...

perhapse it is your angry, hurtful "jokes" :weep:

:sadwalk:

or that your hanging out with your calculus teacher

:topsy:

Confidence is good, but if the confidence makes you seem unapproachable, like if they even approach you they're just going to get shot down, that could be a problem.

My calculus teacher is pretty much the unofficial school counselor; she's awesome.

I try not to be unapproachable; I smile a lot and am happy most of the time. I am sarcastic though, but I try not to be hurtful. It's like I can get friends who are guys but they don't seem to see me as a girl, even though I am not manly or "one-of-the-guys" in any way. I'm always the "go to with your problems" girl, not the "take to the movies" girl, even though I sometimes really want to be...

A good female friend of mine said almost the EXACT same thing to me like two years ago. First year of college and the summer before and she sort of "clicked". Now she's a heart breaker :)

So, trial and error. I know that's vague but there is no secret formula, you just have to work out your own grove.
