Thanks! I was talking with Sister Maria Stella last weekend and telling her we were waiting for them to update the website with Emily so that we could post it on phatmass... and here it is! Five now! They are growing so quickly! I am so glad -there couldn't be more charitable and intelligent sisters.

I might be going up there tonight, I've been trying to get my overly busy brother to take me up for Vespers, though I understand his situation, I am going to give Emily a big HUG! And welcome her. As matter of fact...I wonder if I could bring the rest of my cherry cheesecake with. *thinks*

Its funny, I dont know Emily, but she looks oddly familiar to me.

Would you mind telling us? I am not familiar with it and I would like to learn.
Thank you.

The sisters stick strictly to organic, so don't bother if it's not, although it is a nice thought :)
Are they a new order? Or are they an older order that is experiencing a revival?

Either one is great.
They are new. They are still a "private association" technically, which is the first stage.

Let's see... I believe Sister Maria Stella arrived three years ago, Sister Catharine Marie 2 years ago, I know postulant Collette has been there one year, postulant Emily just arrived, and Sister Julia the final professed has been there since the beginning.

So, they have 1 final professed (she was a Maryknoll, but felt called to a return to authentic religious life)
1 temporary professed
1 novice
2 postulants

I'm not sure when they started, but Sister Julia was a former Maryknoll Sister who answered a call by two Russian priests, she asked them what they needed most in Russia and they said, nuns, sisters and walla thats why she founded the Sisters in Jesus the Lord, I dont how she came to Saint Paul, but I am glad she did. Their specific mission is to Vladivostok, Russia.

Thats a basic summary, now they are five Emily being the new one. I spent the day with them on my birthday yesterday, it was said that when the have one more they will then send three to Russia. There was only four there yesterday, Sister Catherine Marie, Sister Julia, Emily, and Collette, Sister Maria Stella the first to enter when Sister Julia founded went on her home visit in Virginia.

Awesome, she is fantastic. I've met Sister Maria Stella before she was a sister she was actually being counted as a candidate at that time. It was cool.
