More choices aren't a bad thing. Those who like the TLM can enjoy it and those who don't can continue with the current version.

I feel bad, because no matter how much I read on the net, I still dont feel as if I have a good understanding of the TM. Is there a thread on the board or the defense directory or something that could explain it better (Or do ya'll know of a good site?)

I am however excited. I would like too experience a TM, and it would seem that with MP it would be easier for me to do that, so w00t w00t!

I love my German Shepard! <3

You can see if you have a TLM in your area by gong here:

or here:

you can also see a good video of a TLM here:

Should the Motu Proprio on the TLM be released?: YES.

I would even say yes to the question: Should the TLM permanently replace the Novus Ordo?

Of course it should be released, because the wider use of the older Roman liturgy will benefit the Latin Church.

I believe that's sorely missing the intent of the Motu Proprio.

Anyways, I guess you can say I'm not so much excited for the universal indult as i am excited for the future of the Church as we undergo a real and healthy transition to the Novus Ordo by going back to our roots and allowing them to directly influence how we go about the ecumenical movement. The Faithful need to learn more about the Tridentine Mass so that the Novus Ordo will be best and most reverently celebrated. We will thus be more ecumenical as we move to make our action and prayer so much more directed towards the power of the Holy Spirit.

I think in the long run, Pope Benedict's actions will bring many more into the fold than all the media believes will leave...

Yep, that was the poll which inspired this thread.
