chelsea
Don't get involved in too many things! You need to study you know. Whats neat about Syeubenville is that you will already "know" a few people around here! I thought that was so awesome when I moved to this area, phatmass is so cool like that.
I'm so excited that I'm going to get to study! I know that sounds silly, but really... I want to major in Theology and Social Work, and what better place to do that than at FUS? Like, I'll finally get to study something that i LOVE. (I know that Im not gonna love all my classes, but most of them ) I also have a few friends from my youth group going there in the fall, and some of my Young Apostle friends, so not only will i have them, but i'll have the Pham too!
I thought about adding, "get a room," but then I thought you might actually do it, being married and all, and that's just too vulgar. So then I thought about saying, "oh, gross...get out of here...go make babies or something," but I didn't.

I'll probably come up sometime towards the end of september, and then like early november. Three of my really close friends are going to be there, and by that time I'll be going through friend-withdraw lol. If I do come up I'm gonna put a notice on PM so that I can come meet any of the pham that goes there.

jiyoung
I'll be there in the fall too Good excuse for a PM party... But... What is your favorite & least favorite part of FUS?: Favorite is the orthodoxy in teaching and generally throughout the campus, the deep friendships you form there, the Austria program (teehee!)... least favorite is administration and lack of financial aid, and yeah it's also too charismatic for me--I used to be a Young Apostle but I've changed a lot since then, and sometimes I feel a little suffocated by the lack of options for more traditional types--thank goodness for St. Peter's! What stuff are you involved in?: I'm involved in the Schola. If you do any singing, you should join--Prof Weber is great. And if you don't want credit for it, you don't have to be signed up in the class--a professor (Dr. Smith from the classics department) is in schola. I didn't get involved in too much else, but there are so many amazing opportunities. Just don't lose your head in it; you ARE a student, after all, and it's enough to devote yourself to a few activities that you really love and then maybe participate on a somewhat lesser level for other stuff, because you'll get burned out quickly. What are you majoring in?: Catechetics and theology--both great departments.
