At our parish, they're mainly old guys, but when they process w/ us (I'm an altar server) on the Holy Week masses, it's magical. To see them in full gear and with such a look of determination on their faces...kewl. As for spaghetti, though, our Men's Club does the cooking; not the Knights. in Him, Sarah

I've gotten an Alter Server award from them (even though I wasn't an official Catholic...but I was honored very much!) Plus, why do they wear those type of costumes? Why not like...medieval type? Now THAT would be cool...but costly.

I suppose that's all well and good, but I bet the Knight of Columbus spend a lot of time trying to justify their existence to the people, and attempting to hold jousts and tournaments in lieu of football games.

They believe in providing charity to the community parish and helping the parish grow spiritually, foster vocations and reamin loyal to mother church and they have a special devotion for the blessed mother.
