If you are being misunderstood, say so in the thread and try to correct the misunderstanding. Please do not ask us to rewrite a post for you because you are unhappy with it. It is not only unfair to other posters to reply to one comment only to have you mysteriously delete it, it is confusing to the continuity of the thread.

Do not post personal information you will regret later. Do not name yourself or your location if you feel this is more information than you wish to post on a public phorum. Be mindful of naming your school, college, work place. seminary or religious order-- think twice before hitting "add reply." If you have made a post with this kind of information, reread it once it is posted and see if that it really what you want to say. If not, you have time to edit it. If you are unsure, delete it until you are sure it is what you wish to say.

It is not our job to do any of those things for you. That those favors were done in the past (out of the goodness our hearts) is no guarantee that they will be in the future. In fact, they will not be. Please only report when you see someone breaking the guidelines. If you need to review the guidelines, please do so. Thank you.

This clarification was made because people were emailing us weeks after a post and deciding they wanted to change a phrase, a comment etc.
