The height of my Italian speaking skills passed about seven years ago, but I can still muddle my way through to some extent. :)

If I didn't have to spend so much time working (yuck) I would devote that time to languages.

Thanks for the good advice Knight!
I will continue to search for some kind of contact to Father Amorth, if I find one I will forward it to you.

Maybe I can help, too? Oh, and I found a link to the original 30 giorni article in Italian.

Did you want my translation? ^_^ However, I'm working out of town most days ths week , could get onto it later...

KofC if you find a way to link him, I've always wanted Padre Amorth's autograph ;)

I just checked that paragraph you provided against the Italian...it fits.

Just thought I'd note that I'd take anything published in 30 Giorni with a grain of salt. Haven't read it in many years, but that rag had some really weird stuff in it. Definitely a mixed bag.

Oh no, they were something I thought would go with the article... I heard Bishop Fulton Sheen speak them... thought it good to post them..
it also intrigued me that he mentioned Marilyn Manson's name particularly. you gotta be one pretty jacked up public figure to be brought up in an interview with a vatican exorcist...
lol right ?

Articles like this further show that there is a ton more to be done. It's overwhelming. :(

Society would do well to listen to Fr. Amorth. He's quite radical in his views, and this is necessary. I don't go quite as far in his evaluation of music and books, but that doesn't mean I disagree with a single thing he says.
Sometimes he's a bit harsh with bishops too, but on the other hand, maybe he's someone with the experience to actually talk to them.
