BRILLIANT! its bittersweet tho, i'm really sad its over. and in spite of the all threads about the evil of harry potter, the gospel themes of selfish love, constant forgiveness (i love ron's brilliant line right before he punches draco in the face ), and redemption SCREAM throughout the novel. fantastic! :

jiyoung Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 I finished last night after maybe 9 or 10 hours straight reading. It was so good! I'm really sad it's over, and I have to say I still have a lot of unanswered questions, but overall I think it was an amazing way to end the story.

Deus te Amat Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 i finished at 2 am last night.... pretty good with constant inturruptions due to family touring.... : i have alot of unanswered questions also, but i thought it was VERY well written, with distinctive themes evident in todays life... i'm not complaining, just asking for a followup of what everyone is doing after Voldemort.... :

I knew I wouldn't have any time today to read it, and I wanted to know what happened, so I read it last night. I thought rowling was brilliant with the way she satisfied those who wanted harry to die, and those who didn't... basically, I thought it was really good. Edited July 22, 2007 by Brigid

[/quote] authors don't write to satisfy readers. they shouldn't write the plot with that primary goal anyway. they should write from the heart. i just took that class from joseph pearce.... *sigh*

I really only buy most books because I don't want to have to return them within a given time period .... My plan is to read all seven in a row in August.
