Colleen Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007
Needless to say, a lot of phatmass shirts are simply a way to get people to ask, "what does your shirt mean"? It's kinda like reversed evangelization. THEY initiate you talking about God. hahaha In fact, for those that have questions on why phatmass isn't blatantly Catholic on the outside, I'd say that's the reason. Curiosity attracts the searchers.
I like that idea. Initiating a conversation rather than flat-out preaching. Leading to insight and understanding.
Noel's angel Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I'm sad I would buy the Bishop one if it was white with black writing. But I hate black t-shirts.

I want to get the extra light super soft ones, like American Apparel makes.
Ora et Labora Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 my sister already voted...and that means i can't vote since it's already open and theres nothing for me to click on...but i vote for the first one.

If you're going to make white t-shirts, I think it's always important to get good quailty ones. Otherwise thewhiteness doesn't last and they can also be a bit...see-through... Lil Red Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007
I actually got into a conversation about contraception while swimming yesterday. It was awesome.
how strange. while swimming??
I have a friend who loves to swim, and who is a "spiritualist" (read: lots of New Agey stuff). Because I've been respectful of her beliefs, she and I have had a number of good conversations about faith and belief, including one the other day about Catholic teachings on contraception.

I think we have cleared up many misconceptions about things. She is very into things like spirits, though, so we have been talking quite a bit about that ... she sees a medium, for example. I am so leery of that kind of stuff, and I'm trying to express that this stuff is dangerous and wrong without coming down so hard that I cut off the opportunity for future communication. I did wear my PM t-shirt (the camaro one) on Sat. at my party and several people commented on it. That was cool.
