Ok, Ok, I know this makes me ubergeek, but I sang this song more times than I can count

Andy sings: "In victory with Jesus, my Saviour forever! He walks with me and talks with me, through His redeeming Blood; Through Victory in Jesus, my Saviour forever...!"

This should read "O Victory in Jesus, my Savior Forever! He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood. He loved me ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him. He plunged me to victory beneath His cleansing blood."

Sorry, its number 473 in "The Hymnal for Worship and Praise" We sang it at least 2 a month growing up. I still find myself humming it some days.

peace...

Yay Andy! Yay Jesus! Yay Mary! Yay Catechism! Yay phatmass! :D

It is so inspiring to hear about you growing in your faith! Remember, we love you as the beautiful child of God that you are, regardless of what you believe. (And we also rejoice as God's grace is shed upon you in your search for the truth!)

Uber L33t Amen!

We aren't prejuidice Andy and/or Kristen, we got some Protestant friends on Phatmass who hang around too! (Example: Mulls and Bro. Adam)

But it tore us up when we saw you say some of the things you said, we weren't angry at you, just heart broken :( . Glad you're doing research again, which helped me a ton on my way to Catholicism. :D

If you have any questions, please let us know. We even have two priests who post on Phatmass time to time (Fr. Pontifex and Cappie).

Hahahaha! That reminds me of a Protestant song!

Andy sings: "In victory with Jesus, my Saviour forever! He walks with me and talks with me, through His redeeming Blood; Through Victory in Jesus, my Saviour forever...!"

Man.. that's not exactly how it goes. fyi

Many people have already read the post that I posted, Cross: Crossing the River of Spiritual Salvation, which was deemed extremely controversal because I had some pretty messed up views of the Catholic Church.

I owe each and every one of you an apology because of the course I took in posting that.  That was one, uncalled for on my part because I didn't truely understand things about the Church.  Secondly, I now feel that this place, Phatmass, has brought me a lot closer to the Church because I believe a lot more after researching it (I spent all day in the Catechism and "Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth"). Thirdly, I need to apologize for the mistakes on my behalf and make sure that everything is alright with each of you.  I apologize once again.   Fourthly, this has made me want to start taking RCIA classes in September to finally fulfill my aspirations of becoming a Catholic, which then I can talk to ya'll in a civil manner rather than being so defensive of something I don't really know anything about.  :P

I would also like to thank you guys for everything that you have posted and told me.  I listened to you (believe it or not, a stubborn Protestant actually listened  :rolling: ) and I took it into consideration, then looked it all up.  I thank you all for opening my eyes and allowing me to see the Church truely.  You've all made a major impact on me.

God Bless you all!

Andy
