Sojourner
I was at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and I saw a guy buying a dozen roses for his girlfriend. Instead of being all happy for him, I got really bitter and angry and then really sad.
You can work through that. God will give you the grace to forgive what you need to forgive. And if you don't want to forgive, you can pray for the grace to want to forgive. It takes time. But you don't want to be stuck in a place where you cannot rejoice in someone else's happiness forever ...

iggyjoan
Anyone want to move to a foreign country with me?
If it makes you feel any better, my mom said that if Hillary Clinton ever becomes president we're moving straight to Canada, no questions asked. But hopefully that will never happen.
rachael
I was thinking Australia. Kangaroos and koalas. Enough said.
iggyjoan
Oh. I couldn't go to Australia. I'd be too sad thinking about Steve Irwin. On the other hand, theres a Jonas Brother song called "Australia" where Joe describes his dream girl being "from Australia"... Forget Steve Irwin lets go right now! Sojourner
Eh, don't take the easy way out ... I lose respect for people who don't stand up and fight for a good thing. Going through the tough stuff builds your soul.

rachael
Ok, so here's an update on the situation and my feelings towards it: The situation has calmed down and he's no longer being a butthead (as far as I know). The thing is, my mental health is a wreck at the moment. So many things were left unresolved, and I have this over-whelming urge to talk to him to help settle these unresolved issues....because...man....I'm down....I just don't know what to do. Should I contact him and settle things or just leave it alone?

rachael
Not sure. I'm just one of those people who needs to clear things up before I can truly move on. I haven't been able to since we broke up, so I'm stuck.
