Should you really use the word "lust"... doesn't that just create more problems than it solves?
Hmm, that's a good point. How about "Women Away!(tm)" It would definitely have the desired effect ...
homeschoolmom Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Because asking the dudes to acknowledge a little responsibility for their own sin makes us radical feminists?

Women would think of their good looks as dangerous hockey pucks that need to be deflected away from the eyes of helpless men at any cost.
knightec Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I think all guys are going to need helmets after the beating we're taking in this thread.

knightec Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 If all women dressed like Martha Stewart we wouldn't look. Oh wait, she's hot! Nevermind.

What's the problem? Is it only acceptable to poke fun at men?
homeschoolmom Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 No... I just wasn't sure you were joking.
scardella Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Why don't we just poke our eyes out and save everyone the effort?
Aloysius Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 that's what Jesus said, poke your eyes out! on a serious note: men need to not look, women need to be modest (not just for the sake of lustful guys, but also for their own self respect and for the sake of regular good guys who happen to have weaknesses) it's not about shifting blame to the girls; but adding blame on top of the blame the guys have to the girls as well is what Catholic modesty is all about. but that's just one little serious note.. continue in your sillyness or something... just keep your sleeves on please :

We have had heat indexes of 100 and not erveryone has air conditioning, so you would hav to be wearing your blinders to go out your door.
Brigid Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 or we could just make them all like aalpha. Whenever I'm with him and I see some horribly dressed girl, I'll kinda shift over so I'm blocking his view of her. When he asks why, and I tell him that I'm saving him from the girl that doesn't know how to wear clothes, he just gives me this funny look and says "I didn't notice." then he asks me why I tell him he's so amazing.

There is a time and place under the sun for many things, though.
Socrates Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007
Men should wear blinders in public so they are less likely to see an immodestly dressed woman.
I'll wear them only on the condition that I get to strut about otherwise in the buff. Afterall, if any women are bothered by seeing my virile anatomy, it is obviously those dirty silly sallies' own fault, as their minds should be focused on pure things, rather than focusing on my naughty bits! If they were truly pure-minded, they wouldn't even notice that I wasn't wearing clothes!
Aloysius Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 This thread is on to something... all those year's the teachings of modesty have been focused on the clothes, when it should've been focused on the eyes! no one needs any clothes, we can all wear blindfolds! [guiness] Brilliant! [/guiness]
