St. Rose of Lima Church, Fort Rock Valley, Central Oregon.

One of the most interesting churches I visited on my trip last month to Finland and Estonia was Temppeliaukio Church, "Church in the Rock" built into solid granite. From the outside, the dome makes it look like some kind of landed flying saucer, but the interior boasts perfect acoustics. The fourth picture is a musical group practicing with a lady called Ritva Oksanen for a concert recital later that night. I was told she is a well-known Finnish singer and TV personality there. Most churches in Finland are Protestant or Russian Orthodox, of course.

I saw a really cool Dominican monastery in Tallinn, Estonia, as well. Unfortunately pictures were disallowed.
