Famous Catholics?

Vincent Vega

Stephen Colbert is Catholic. I love watching his show and seeing what Catholic references he makes. He once recited the whole creed on the show! It was awesome!!
How about some heads of state?

Nicolas Sarkozy and François Fillon - Prime minister and president of France, respectively
Donald Tusk and Lech Kaczyński - Prime minister and president of Poland, respectively
Romano Prodi - Prime minister of Italy
Aníbal Cavaco Silva - President of Portugal
King Juan Carlos I of Spain
Alfred Gusenbauer -Chancellor of Austria
King Albert II of Belgium

Valdas Adamkus - President of Lithuania

... And that's just Europe!

Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa - President of Mexico
Laurent Gbagbo and Guillaume Soro- President and Prime minister of Côte d'Ivoire
John Kufuor - President of Ghana
Mwai Kibaki - President of Kenya

I'm sure there are many more, I don't have the time to search 'em out right now, though ;)
Imagine if they enacted legislation in accord with Catholic teaching!!! Great post, though.
I know Harry Lennix (Barbershop, the Matrix) graduated from Quigley South high school seminary in Chicago but there is question about his current beliefs (he supposedly had a flirtation with Islam).
I'll vouch for that - once, when he was back in Chicago visiting, I found out that he was at the same Mass I was at and autographed a parish bulletin for one of my cousins.
He went to Quigley? Crazy! That place is amazing.
that website link is seriously flawed. bill maher is definitely not catholic, it says he is non practicing, thing is - he isn't catholic at all, he actually is supremely anti-catholic.

you shuold see how many articles come up of how anti catholic he is...

i think he was/is jewish...

who made up that list?!?!
I believe one of his Parents was Jewish and one was Catholic. He does seem to be avery hostile to the Church. However, the only time I ever saw him really go off on someone on his old show was when they said the Vatican had the biggest porn collection in the world. He apparantly had respect for JPII. Becuase he went off, and they cut for comercial, when they came beck the guy had been reseated, farther away from Maher.

I think he is just a MAlcontent, no one will ever make him happy, and he si going to make sure of that.

Jack Nicholson is not Catholic. He has said that he "envies those who have the benefit of faith" though.

Steve Mceveety, producer of the Passion, Braveheart, Star of Bethlehem is a devout Catholic. Really nice guy.

Oscar Wilde was recieved into the church on his death bed.

Alice B. Toklas, the companion of Gertrude Stein, was also received into the Church at the end of her life.

She was famous in her own right as a cookbook author, and if memory serves me, the inventor of "party brownies."
