Moneybags Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think that is definitely needed out in cyberspace. I do my best to help spread the Gospel on Yahoo Answers and Askville, but many, many sites are in need. I highly suggest that another round starts as soon as possible. elizabeth_jane Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I am in favor of anything that involved Bunnies, Fuzzy or otherwise
Moneybags Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 I think the Internet is in great need of another such crusade so I have went to the other forum that I frequently visit - Fish Eaters - and suggested that we start a similar idea there. If anyone is interested in taking part in this effort, please visit Fish Eaters and post a comment there: http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/post/ap...post?id=2399536
MissyP89 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 The FBC needs to get back up. There are people who are interested. *waves*
Innocent Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Please pardon my ignorance, but what was the Fuzzy Bunny Crusade?

prose Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I was a member of the FBC. I think it was more of a problem that members were committed but didn't participate. I think we should have all been on one team to begin with as the numbers were spread too thin, therefore, when one team lost a member or anything happened, the whole target site was abandoned. There probably was no need for 4 teams, or at least to start.
jeffpugh Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I tried to get involed around last april, I think. Phatcatholic and Raph and so on said they'd have me join, but didn't get around to giving me the password. At least, that's how I remember it.
Moneybags Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 I've set up a similar project now on a new forum. If anyone is interested, please PM me.
phatcatholic Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 The FBC was basically an organized effort by phatmass to defend and explain the Catholic faith on Protestant web forums and to give phatmassers experience defending their faith as a member of a group of apologists working together and helping each other. The FBC was originally my idea and I was in charge of it for a long time. Then, with school I couldn't keep it going anymore, so it kinda died. Micah ("Raphael") resurrected it for a little while, but then it died again. It could very well rise from the ashes yet again, but it needs, more than anything else, an admin who is highly skilled in apologetics and who has the time and the energy to maintain the FBC. That means recruiting members, forming groups, assigning each group to an appropriate forum, monitoring their progress, answering questions from the "crusaders," and making sure everyone stays committed to the cause. It's a lot of work, but it also bears much fruit, to which I myself can attest when I was leading it. If anyone wants to be an admin and spearhead the new FBC, just let me know and I can give you a crash course on what you need to do to get it up and running again. Pax Christi, phatcatholic

Thank you.
jeffpugh Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Well, talk to St Benedict, he can set those interested up in a FBC of his own. I'm part of it. It's a pretty cool system.

thessalonian Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Quite honestly, for those who have the patience with the unchurched I think that youtube has more potential reward than protestant boards. Also Godtube has more protestants who aren't so entrenched in anti-catholicism IMHO.
