Our school was originally built as a warehouse, so all the walls are really thin and can be knocked down to make the entire building one big open space......

No windows. No light. No fresh air. My school is a germ factory. :o
NO you're not the only homeschooler on here!
Homeschooling is awesome, which is why my 5 siblings and myself are homeschooled. My parents make their own curriculum, taking their favorite books from different 'set' curriculums. This is my 10th year of being homeschooled, so trust me- :D -i know what i'm talking about when it comes to this subject. I currently take classes at community colleges that double as both high school and college credit (i.e. Physics, stuff that might be challenging for me at home), as well as other subjects that i can easily take at home (i.e. Saxon Math topics, etc.). being homeschooled i can easily keep my faith alive, since i have many friends that go to public/Catholic/private schools, that may not share my faith.
remember: homeschooled=parents make the final grade on the subjects
NOT: homeschooled=no social life, trapped and taught only by mom

yay more homeschoolers i used 2 be homescholled along with my brothers, but when another brother came along sadly my parents made me go back to school :sadder: i miss those good days!! i still keep up with all my home school friends !! but now things are changing again (and hopefully for the better) i'm going to a very small (30 pupils!! compared to my current school 2000 pupils!) catholic school in france!!

God bless you all

 i'm confused... the more siblings homeschooled the better! there are a lot of teens (at least in the southeast) that are becoming homeschooled each year. france sounds great though.. i hope to go up to Stuby U in ohio for college, i grew up for 10 years around the campus. -ben

Check out Franciscan U. of Steubenville (Click to link!), solid theology and high Christian standards of living!
not many Catholic schools are like that anymore, specially many of the Jesuits unfortunately :(

hey aliens,

i thought i would take a break from the debate table and get some fresh air in the under 20 board. anyway, i go to a college that is affiliated w/ the methodist church. this is my last semester and then i'll have my masters in counseling and human development, w/ an emphasis in mental health. i should be writing a paper at this very moment, yet i procrastinate. old habits die hard i guess.

its cool that u guys are in high school and strong in ur faith. i didn't really care much about mine until i came to college and was challenged about what i believe. i look back and i see that i would have really enjoyed all those classes about catholicism had i been more excited about my faith.

keep up the good work, and thanks for letting me catch a breather, even tho i'm technically too old to be here (23). don't forget to peep the reference section in the apologetics board the next time a student or teacher tries to diss the faith.

pax christi,

i never even thought about that.. it would be neat to go to a non-Catholic school, for the sake of spreading the faith! --but i think i'll stick with FUS for now. nobody likes to get too technical in here, 23 isn't THAT old, as long as u have something interesting to say.
