I'm homeschooled <_<
kaeldra--another homeschooler!
its great to see another one in here... makes me feel even more special. its my 10th year being homeschooled (wow am i experienced <_< but at least i'm going to be able to graduate with close to 40 credits!!).

on the subject of FUS and Scott Hahn, i was in the same homeschool group as he and his family were when i lived up there (which was 10 years.. 5 in the homeschool group). his family's great, and he and his wife are 2 of the best speakers i know.. i still have a nice rivalry with their son Gabriel... :D good memories brought back!

I like public high school because it gives me a chance to experience people of different faiths and to evangelize.

Hey, I was just validated last night, so I will now enjoy posting or replying. As far as the poll goes, I am currently attending Forest Lake Public High School. But, being the nerd that I am, I homeschool myself on the side. Our highschool, like most highscools, also has classes that are run by a prof at a nearby college, so I take advantage of those as well. God bless and you are all in my prayers.

In Christ with the Immaculata,
I actually have a theory as to why kids at catholic schools are lukewarm:
catholic schoolers are so used to being surrounded by catholicism that they take it for granted, whereas public schoolers are denied that opportunity, so they cling to their faith all the more.

What do you think?
I've been in Catholic school my entire life, and I agree with you whole-heartedly. Youth groups are the best places to find teens/kids that are on fire for their faith, and most of them go to public school! :P

Not that young! I'm only in eighth grade. Public middle school. I was in a Catholic school until fifth grade, but it got too expensive for all six of us kids to keep going. So we moved and switched to public schools.
