Modern Crusaders

I was thinking today, with the tread about the Archbishop being killed in Iraq and the violence against Christians in Iraq, should the Church talk about a 'modern crusade'? I'm only speaking in terms of something like a security force to protect the Christians?

If you think so, would you personally go if you were able?

I think in todays world with the Iraqi government actually doing a lot more to protect Christians having Westerners on Arab soil would only escalate tensions.
