Allesia, I do not know how you pro-nounce it in French or in the old Gallic of the Gauls, but I'll try to pronounce it in Anglicanised Irish gaelige.

Ah-lay-see-ah, try that, see if it sounds right in your ears.

[quote name='hugheyforlife' post='1562111' date='Jun 7 2008, 02:52 AM']Does it have catnip in it? My kitty used to love the mice with catnip inside. Man I miss my kitty. Be sure to let us know what you decide on (as far as a name goes), Father! I want to be sure to know what name to tell dUSty when I inform him of our visit...

Yes. She does not take too well to catnip though. She looked at me, last night and went to run and ran right into my dresser, not an inch away from her. I cut her off after that ;)

Hold on, I think I may have it. She is a natural hunter, playing for hours with her mouse, she does crazy flips and falls, and somehow lands on her feet, and is fast.

I am thinking Trinity, in honor of, of course, God, but also the woman from The Matrix ;)

Ok, in all seriousness.

She is a tabby, so was thinking Tabitha

Meaning: Beauty, grace From the Aramaic word for Gazelle. Biblical - Tabitha of the New Testament (Acts 9:36) was noted for good works.

or, even though I am a priest, name her Calliope, the Greek goddess of poetry. I really like that name though...oh, wait, it is also the name of the piano in carnivals...got my name..Calli for short

Meaning: Calliope (also spelled Kalliope) was the Goddess of Epic Poetry. Also the name of the musical piano for carnivals.

Whoa. That author has issues. At first I thought they must just be trying to be funny... but alas, they were serious.

If I were to get a cat, my first choice would be "Quotquot" (at least ever since I started going to Tridentine Low Masses, anyway).

I'm allergic to cats, and just reading about them has my right eye itching. :pinch:

The Carmelites at my school named their dog Caeli.

Calli... How I miss California weather...

I see that one of our cats' names is on the list (Cosmo is at 37; he was named for Kramer). I don't expect Firebert to be on the list soon, though. :kitten:
