Alycin
For those who aren't aware yet, Alex's teacher, Wendy Portillo, apparently became frustrated with his behavior and decided to discipline him. Her chosen method was to shame him, Survivor style, by having the other children in the class say what they didn't like about him and then vote on whether or not they wanted him in the class with them. The children called him "disgusting" and "annoying" and voted 14 to 2 to kick him out of the class.
Full story and source

Madtown Sem.
assuming my own particular judgement during the eschaton goes well, would it be wrong to chuckle at people who clearly acted like jerks in this life and finally have to pay for it? (I don't really know... it is just my personal opinion that it would be wrong to laugh at them.) ETA: To be clear, I would want to see her get reprimanded big time. CatherineM
I wonder what college this teacher went to? It must be some kind of new education theory that humiliating kids is good for them.

Jesus_lol
wow, that is cold. to a teenager, this might not be so bad, but who in their right mind could think of doing something like this to a five year old? this is the type of croutons that messes people up for life. Alycin
IMO this is a good reason for cloning... if you could clone my kindergarten teacher and have her teaching all the kids in America, it would be a better country, no lie. ETA: I don't really believe in cloning, btw. Edited June 7, 2008 by Alycin
