Since Alleluia Is Ommited During Mass

Well, I was wondering, since Alleluia, is ommited from Mass during Lent, must it also be omitted from our prayer life for Lent as well?

In Lent the gospel acclamation is changed from 'Alleluia' to 'Praise to you O Christ, King of eternal glory', which is more or less a translation of 'Alleluia' ('Praise the LORD').

So, no, we do not omit Alleluia from our prayer life even though we don't use that word in Lent in the public liturgy.
