Please Help - I've Been Having Dreams...

But I gotta eat pasta so I get lots of carbs - its good to eat the night before a softball game!

That's so interesting because my aunt had a dream similar to that. She also has dreams about the end of the world. The one she told me about was that she saw Jesus coming down in a cloud from the east and she started running towards Him singing Palm Sunday songs in aramaic. At the same time she's yelling at everyone saying "look! it's Jesus!" And there were many people running away and who were afraid to approach Him, and as she gets closer to Jesus she sees Mary in the sky and my aunt is so happy to see her that she starts to dance and is shouting for everyone to come see her. She also told me that there were all different kind of people there even those who were already deceased and they were all gathering into a line, but as she is filled with so much happiness and joy there were so many people around who were so afraid and were running away.

When she told me this dream she had no idea what it meant, but as she told me it, it was like right away I knew it was a dream about the end of the world.

I always think about the Lord returning and how every knee shall bend. I feel kind of secure knowing my knee will be bending in adoration and worship and not in fear. That was the one key thing about my drea. So many people were terrified and I was so happy. I do pray every day for the Lord to come back now. Maybe these kinds of dreams are just our desires.

What about Saint Joseph?

I read a Matthew Kelly book and he talked about our dreams and what they could mean. I think they can really mean something depending on the dream. But I guess it depends on the dream. My friend gave me a prayer cloth that was touched to many relics of over 30 saints and I would put that in my pillow. I also make sure I have something blessed or bless myself with holy water/holy salt before I go to sleep. Use with great Faith!

And if none of that works, calling on the name of Jesus with great confidence is helpful!

I have heard alot of stories related to eating late also,high carb,high fat and high protein foods ate late at night can cause this also. Its like your filling up you tank with supreme,to park it in a field and let some grass grow around it. Maybe your body is trying to process it all. JC

I am curious why you eat them the night before?

Because that energy in the carbs is fully ready for the next morning. That energy is much-needed when you got three games in a day.

All the sports coaches tell the athletes to eat high-carb meals the night before a game.
