"A woman is in a hotel by herself. The phone rings. She picks the phone up to her ear but there is no one on the line. Ten minutes later, the door knocks. She opens the door and fires a gun three times, killing the bellboy. Why?"

Aloysius Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 the bellboy was really an evil alien zombie telephone repair man come to fix her telephone and eat her brains. she knew this because evil alien zombies always cut the phone line and come to the door ten minutes later pozing as a phone repair man to fix it. she wasn't gonna loose her brain to no evil alien zombie. Maybe she shot at something else and it fell on him. But that doesn't explain why... hmm... Maybe she was expecting a call from the bellboy and when she answered the phone and he wasn't there, she got mad. :angry: When he came to the door, she shot him... Okay that's really lame... I'll keep thinking... Because you know, I won't sleep until we figure this out.

homeschoolmom Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 The woman is blind. The bellboy calls her (from his cell phone-- he's hiding in the closet) to see if she's there. When she answers the phone, he hangs up. Ten minutes later he knocks on the closet door and she, being blind, goes to the room's door. But, since she's blind, she has a good sense of hearing and knows that the knocking came from the closet. Knowing that knocking shouldn't have come from the closet, she takes three shots at the closet and kills the bellboy. Okay, it's really late... this makes no sense at all... I've been reading too many of Al's weird posts about bullseyes... and I am rambling...
