homeschoolmom
The only reason I clicked on it, was that I wanted to know what I was reporting. I also figured better for me a middle aged, married woman, to stick my toe in than one of the kids. I was just surprised at how much worse it was than I suspected. I know there isn't any way to really completely keep this stuff off, and I wasn't getting on to the mods at all, I was just wondering if it was the weather or something that was bringing all the creeps out of the woodwork.
Oh no... I didn't think you were being critical of the mods. In general, I agree that there are some of us who are less effected than others. I, too, hope that none of the younger members run across this filth. I was just trying to offer suggestions for people... And I wanted to let people know that they can report something that they suspect is spam without having to actually subject themselves to it. CatherineM
That one didn't even require us to click on anything. I can't get even a small picture to post, and these people can post a whole gaggle. You'd think they had something better to do with their time. Someone doesn't like us, I think. Brother Adam
I guess I'm just used to how the Internet works that stuff like this doesn't bother or phase me. As Invision Power Board and so many other companies beat the hackers and spammers with their latest security updates, they just work on a new hack to beat the boards or websites security. It goes in circles. Invision Power Board has a new security update to close the loophole that allows the pornbots and spambots to get through. If a username doesn't make sense and you have never seen them here before and the subject line looks suspecious, just don't open it. A moderator will get to it sooner or later.
