I was thinking about all the stuff that used to be all the rage, and now you never here of it anymore.

Pogs. Pokemon, Beanie Babies, Tae Bo.

That embarassing Macarena dance.

I remember several knock down drag out fights among my fellow third graders over Hello Kitty/Polly Pocket pencil cases.

It amazes me because

1. I feel really old

and

2. When these things came around it felt like they were going to be a fixture of the culture, but poof away they went.

Push pops! ----- I'd get the ring kind and take a few licks and then I'd sit on my hands and stain my pants and get dog hair on the push pop so it was unlickable thereafter.

Ah, how could I forget ..
