jeffpugh
God bless technology. Srsly, this is amazing. We have the ability to manufacture huge (as well as small) saxophones, flutes, and other things nowadays (though it probably costs a fortune to make them) and good people who own these instruments have displayed their axes on youtube. Check these out: Sax Octet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OewPtiS9oNw...feature=related Subcontrabass flute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9Nz0UGuQyc...feature=related Four contrabass Saxophones, "Dragon's first flight" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYnzor_Kpyg...feature=related "Really Big Blues" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwTorKNmED4...feature=related Octobasse flute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rqp42e_GZg&NR=1 And the thing that I saw on front page of youtube that got this whole chain started... A contrabass French horn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC3UvJpxXO8 Just so you all know, a lot of these clips are short. Worth watching though... Oh, and if this isn't lame, feel free to move it
Nihil Obstat
The prefix "contrabass" basically guarantees that something is going to be amazing.

Nihil Obstat
Like tromboons??? You know what my second favourite instrument in the world is? Stroh violin. Mix of a grammaphone and a violin. Beautiful. Do a youtube search or something. Search "Sam Phillips Sister Rosetta". I would post, but I'm at school.

CatherineM
That violin looks like some kind of unholy union Nero and Bell.

(After guitar.) I really really really want to learn how to play bluegrass fiddle someday, because then I'd totally buy one of those. They're quite hard to find, but there's an internet store that carries them.
