Ash Wednesday Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 I'm starting a rosary thread!!!! Today is the Sorrowful Mysteries! I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried, He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Ash Wednesday Posted March 23, 2004 Author Posted March 23, 2004 Oh yeah, you can also add in intentions, post a picture relating to the mystery you're meditating on, et cetera!
Brother Adam Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Theoketos Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen. For the Pope and the Good of Knights!

Brother Adam Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 I'd continue too, but I'm not sure where you are getting the virtues from. It isn't with my virtual rosary program, or any of my notes.
Ash Wednesday Posted March 23, 2004 Author Posted March 23, 2004 aww it's okay... it's just a variation on the rosary and just an optional little "tradition" that's thrown in there. On the first three Hail Mary's on the rosary after the Our Father, oftentimes one can specifically pray for each of the three virtues of grace. :hearts:
