If you really want to see what the Atheist Humanist ideals have done to society, you should read Henri de Lubac's book "The Drama of Atheist Humanism".

its epic.

that is all
Henri de Lubac mentioned in a Taylor Swift thread.

Wow, words cannot express what I am feeling at this moment.

Not to be...idk, weird or anything, but isn't this...hmm...outside your area of expertise? Just sayin...
Definitely. And she sings country, not pop.
BZZT. You're battin' a thousand today.
I saw a very unfortunate looking girl singing her songs on youtube once....srsly.
It was probably her.
No.

I refuse to call it country on moral grounds. Country is Johnny Cash and Earl Scruggs and their ilk. Like... music with high artistic quality.
Taylor Swift and people like her... Corporate country. Not even country pop, because there's a very nice little niche for that too. Corporate country.
The stuff that the mainstream tells people to like. The people that don't actually know music. ;) Same with 99% of what I hear on the radio, country or not. People don't know music, so the mainstream music scene tells them what to like and what to hate.

THIIIIS. A thousand times this.
Country is Cash, Twitty, even stuff like Alabama and George Strait.
Not rubbish like Rascal Flatts, let alone Taylor Swift.
I mean, for goodness sake, she's from Philadelphia!

where you are from does not have anything to do with if you are allowed to sing in the genre of country.

her stuff can't compare to the above artists, but it is classified as country and fits better there than anywhere else.

Corporate country. Just like Britney Spears is corporate pop, Nickelback is corporate hard rock, and... you get my drift.
It's hopelessly unoriginal. Low artistic quality.

Debatable.
HOWEVER: People who are from Philly don't speak like that. She's a phony.

Speak like what?

She doesn't sound to me as if she speaks with a southern accent. She doesn't sound to me as if she tries. And if she lets a "yall" slip then we have to keep in mind that she has lived in nashville for 5 or so years, since she was 13.

Even Alison Krauss has gone "corporate country" with her last couple of videos.

Dolly Parton and Emmy Lou Harris just don't compare to Twitty or Alabama. You can't expect the same from male and female country artists...

carrie underwood actually sings better then dolly and emmylou in my opinion...
