Today i went to a meeting and a guy that had only been to one meeting before (to be fair, there have only been two) decided that he would take over the recently vacated leadership position. There are plenty of people that would have been better for it, but he made it sound like he was the only logical choice and pulled a barack obama on a lot of people and we didn't realized until after we already "elected" him (we didn't vote, we "came to a consensus") that he was NOT the right person for the job. It doesn't matter now, though, because he already let the priest know that he is the leader and he and the priest are pretty close (as close as our new priest can get to a person who isn't mexican. he isn't mexican himself, but can't see how any ministry can be important or good if it doesn't give extra special attention to mexicans) and the priest wouldn't change it even if he got a lot of people asking him to. I just found out a couple of days ago that it is all a big conspiracy by dentists, and all you need to do is wait and use mineral water on them.
