A Decree From The Sultan

A Note From the Glorious Sultan Hassan, Shah of Shahs, Most Magnanimous, Most Courageous in Battle, Protector of the Poor and Down Trodden, and Bringer of Justice Against the Wicked:
Pursuant to the continued celebration of the Salutatoristic glories of the one called Rose the Sultan seeks to resolve a issue which has long caused discord in the world. Jerusalem falls under the sole sovereignty of the Glorious Sultan, and yet the Sultan must remind himself that the possession of territory is not a good in itself but only relative to the ability of the sovereign of the land to enact justice, protect the down trodden, and chastise the wicked.

Pursuant to these considerations, particularly the Sultan’s most admirable title “Patron of the Poor and Down Trodden” he hereby announces the relinquishing of the city of Jerusalem from his direct sovereignty and posits it as an autonomous administratial zone within his kingdom.

Henceforth all troops in the Sultan’s army shall be reassigned to the peripheral of the city for the purposes of security from external threat and to ensure the disarmament of all individuals seeking entrance to the city. Full religious freedom shall be granted to all individuals within the city and no law shall be admissible in any way prejudicial or preferential to any religious faith.

Henceforth the Glorious Sultan shall cede administration authority of the city to a council of religious officials elected from the three primary religious traditions of the Abrahamic faiths.

The Sultan shall grant authority to assign delegates on behalf of the Christian constituents to the Most Respected Roman Pontiff, provided the entertain consultation of an assembly of Orthodox Patriarchs. Jewish delegates will be assigned by a religious assembly assigned by a council composed of delegates representing the major Jewish denominations as determined by those delegations. The Muslim representatives shall be appointed by the Glorious Sultan in consultation with the Ulema, but shall only serve in the capacity to approve their recommendations.

Furthermore similar arrangements shall be made for all other major religious shrines and areas of worship of all faiths within the Sultan’s kingdom
Such is the will of the Glorious Sultan in honor of the Salutatoristic glory of the one called Rose. Any man who dare act in a subversive capacity to the Sultan’s will or seeks to upset the Sultan’s most just equilibrium shall incur such wrath from the Sultan that even the damned souls shall tremble with pity!

Ameen

O FALSE ECUMENISM!

WE, LATIN KING OF JERSUALEM, WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS!

The Blessed Pope Pius IX condemned the proposition "In the present day it is no longer expedient that the Catholic religion should be held as the only religion of the State, to the exclusion of all other forms of worship."

Words from Hassan the Peasant mean nothing to anyone whom this would apply to. And the land called Jerusalem is certainly not in your "Empire" (as you have none). And since the one called Rose has now become the one called TTM (who has expressed that a "one called" shouldn't even be being called) your entire little letter of pretend falls on even more ignoring eyes.

My poor little Pio and Maria... have an insane man for a... a... a... father. :sadder:

I weep. :weep:

Jursalem is not a state. It has no established government but only an administrative authority.

Some Sultan you are! A true Sultan would not misspell "hangover" in Arabic, Persian, Greek, Aramaic or Coptic, let alone his native language!

also the common reaction to the further realization that your children will suffer more heartache as their father shows even more signs of deranged mind.

you speak as if you've been there.

We fully believe in the doctrines which the Second Vatican Council taught in Dignitatis Humanae:

"This Vatican Council declares that the human person has a right to religious freedom. This freedom means that all men are to be immune from coercion on the part of individuals or of social groups and of any human power, in such wise that no one is to be forced to act in a manner contrary to his own beliefs, whether privately or publicly, whether alone or in association with others, within due limits." (Dignitatis Humanae 2)
