A Decree From The Sultan

"Sultan" Hassan

With the advice of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, who has a doctorates in Ecclesiastical History and Moral Theology as well as in Political Science and Military Stragety, we have come to the conclusion that We can licitly forbid the public practice of Secret Islam in Jersualem since the public rituals of this mystery sect would cause much anger among the Christian populace (who makee up the majority of the city's population) and disrupt the peace. This is fully in accordance with DH ("within due limits").

There are no secret Islamic practices, public or private. Any attempt to prohibit the religious freedom of the Glorious Sultan's Muslim, Jewish, or non Roman Catholic Christians subjects will be met with a wrath from the Sultan that is most aweful.

According to all the reliable sources, you are no sultan, but a mere senile old man who spent too much time in his youth reading 1001 Arabian Nights!

The Sultan has never read the 1001 Arabian Nights. The Sultan really only cares for Russian/Slavic Literature, particularly Dostoevsky and Mesa Selimovic.

so true... except, he really isn't that old despite that his mind appears to be going rapidly... and it wasn't arabian nights, but rather him watching aladdin... :ohno:

maybe our lives would be different if i had not allowed him to watch Aladdin. I should have taken the tape and burned it...

i suppose he always would have lost it but at least poor little kafka, mikolbe (and thus rachael) - his only followers - would not have any pretender to follow and would be forced to stand for the good and truth

The only Arab literature I've read in depth is Khalil Gibran and the Qur'an. Outside of that I've never cared for the genre.

Nihil Obstat

Pay witness all ye assembled!
In the sight of God and Men do we make this Ducal Proclamation
The High Lord Grand Duke Joseph, Sovereign Authority of the West hereby and henceforth proclaims that the legitimate Queen TotusTuusMaria is indeed perfectly justified in Her previous accusations against the caliph Pretender known by many as Hassan.
Our Ducal position on the propriety and integrity of the Queen TTM has not previously been expressed, but We seal it as binding upon all whom it may affect inasmuch as it does not affect Our sovereignty or that of Our duly respected and peerless Princess Gianna.
Our Ducal position on the caliph Pretender remains as it has from time immemorial. Our formal and informal comments in the past shall bear this out, as evidenced by Our Ducal archives.
Pay witness all ye assembled!
This Ducal proclamation is affirmed as legitimate in authority and unsurpassed in Truth.
For the glory of God, We make it so.

1) you are not a sultan

2) i wasn't saying you needed "permission" my lacking-in-critical-thinking-skills little friend.

3) i was saying that i should have burned the movie when i saw you watching it... as now we look what we got. you running around with the cracker-stuffer as your avatar and saying you are a sultan.
