That is why I become more outraged at abuses against the Eucharist. The Eucharist is God Himself. I understand that icons and artwork is the extension of the faith. However, I just don't look at it if it is as ugly as that. I am not going to waste my time and energy being angry at something like that. I have other things that I can spend my anger on. True icons are mysteries that convey grace to man, while the image placed in the Vienna cathedral is utterly disgusting and inappropriate within that sacred space.
