All politics is local. By and large people do not associate the negatives of Washington with their own Representative who they tend to think is good.

This is what scares me. I don't want to wake up one day and find that something has been pushed through that I didn't even know was on the table. It might be that I'm being a little naive, but that was my first thought when I realized that Franken makes it officially 60:40.

The guys up top within the partyarchy decided a while ago that Franken is the winner. If they need to "find" some extra votes to make it look legit, they'll do it. Socialism is the name of the game, and Franken is just more willing to play the yes-man than the other guy.

Still, wouldn't have been all that different if [i]Franken[/i] hadn't won. This will just make it more fun for the Republicrats with the "R" after their name to point fingers.
