Fireworks. Tell all. :unclesam:  :bomb:

We shot off a roll of 100 firecrackers, a 100 pack of Saturn rockets, some number 8 bottle rockets, several various fountain-like ones, and some morning glories.

Oh, and we also shot off a couple roman candles but my parents put a stop to it after one of them shifted midway through its rounds and was shooting them at a 45 degree angle into a tree. :D

My children pretty much bought the fireworks this year and put on a nice display for us. It was nice. They had a good time.

We go to the public displays. We get there early so the kids can run around with their friends. We didn't buy any fireworks, but did spend $11 on glow sticks. My kids love to play frisbee with them. We generally frown on them playing frisbee with sparklers.

Didn't officially go to any fireworks displays, but we drove from the south end of the Chicago suburbs to the north end on Friday night, so I saw at least a dozen different villages putting on displays. It was pretty neat.

I don't do well with fireworks close up. Can't handle loud, sudden noises. :pinch:

Forgot to say that there was this spinner thing that fell off this old countertop we set on the grass and it shot about 20 feet into our direction. Fortunately we were another 25 feet away but yeeaaaahhh. :D Mom wasn't too happy about that one.

We launched off some fireworks on New Years Eve, Only cost about 60$... But from where my window looks out, I got to see the fireworks on Canada Day.... Also, since my Window looks out onto a park, I got to see teenagers launching fireworks at houses the day BEFORE Canada Day!

Do Stampede fireworks count?

We saw three shows this year. On July 3rd, one of the neighborhoods nearby had their annual fireworks show (despite the pouring rain) that we can watch from our house. On July 4th, My Dad, my sister, my niece and I went to see Larry the Cable Guy perform at Memorial Stadium. It was my niece's birthday and the tickets were cheap. The city had it's annual fireworks show on the fifth due to rain on the third.
