BLAZEr Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 That it is a gift of the Holy Spirit which is not necessary for salvation and does not necessarily mean that the person speaking in tongues has any spiritual insight or holiness, but rather that the Holy Spirit has chosen to give them a free gift which they do not merit, but have welcomd gratefully.
