This is the first year that I have been sick that they are doing VBS. Usually, we wait until the first week of August. They are doing the Crocodile Dock-Totally Catholic version. It's like why did we turn away from our faith? Certainly there are writers out there, who could come up with something.

There is a great VBS curriculum around in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area. It focuses on "Vocation," and works with a different one each day - priest, religious, married, single. You can do just so much in five days, but they use guest speakers when possible and it is a very good introduction. The kids find it fascinating.

o snap! That sounds like a really cool vbs. Do you know if they use a specific curriculum, or do they kinda just make it up as they go along?

They have a complete curriculum in a three-ring binder, but it looked like something that was privately put together and passed hand-to-hand.
