Chestertonian Posted July 31, 2009 Share Posted July 31, 2009 My wife and I have two boys, one 8 and one 9, and we're trying to decide whether or not we should send them to a Methodist Vacation Bible School. We were thinking that at this age, they wouldn't get into any of the theological differences between Catholics and Protestants, but I cant help but wonder if they wouldn't revel at the opportunity to rescue a couple Catholic children from the depths of "Romanism." CatherineM Posted July 31, 2009 Share Posted July 31, 2009 When my boys were that age, I had to make the same decision and decided against because the VBS involved was much more Evangelical than a Methodist church would be. However, you are right, they might say some things that might confuse them. You might get a lot more responses by posting this in Open Mic where everyone can answer.
