cappie
In more general terms: Anger is the natural response to any perceived wrong. SO justifying anger is an issue of that persons individual perception of the severity of the act. So I suppose anger can be "justifiable" when the generality of those around you agree that you have been wronged. Maybe spammers fit into this general statement Jesus showed righteous wrath in JOHN 2:13-17. This gives us some illustrations on what is justifiable anger. What was the motive of His anger? It was to work repentance. There is such a distinction between a just anger and being angry without a cause; we must learn to discern the difference. There is a righteous anger when we must contend for the truth to bring repentance. The motivation must be for repentance, not for avenging ourselves with our own hand. If we have an anger against someone in order to do him harm, harm his character, or degrade his name before the people, then we are violating the sixth commandment.
