Believing In The Eucharist

My dad who is Catholic absolutely does not believe in the true presence of Our Lord in the eucharist. Since the Bread of Life discource will still be the Gospel for some time at sunday mass I pray that the reading and solid and well prepared homily may even nudge him slightly into believing. He won't listen to me and his disbelief is influencing me. My little brother's first communion is in the spring and with such a poor foundation at home he might believe that it's only a symbol. I really do believe, it's just not easy with dad's influence.
