IcePrincessKRS Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I don't like hugging people I don't know or acquaintances. Family and friends I have no problem with. My mom used to call me "Little Miss Touch-me-not" because I didn't like being touched or a lot of hugging.

Sojourner Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I used to be very huggy, but not so much since I moved to MN. I usually let others initiate it, because a lot of people are uncomfortable with hugs. I don't like hugging strangers, and even some friends. I love hugging my hubby though, or really anyone in my family. My hubby's family is really not huggy ... I noticed this early on in our dating. They are remarkably close to one another, but just not physically affectionate sibling to sibling.

I don't really like hugging strangers, and I too work for the Church so I have a feeling that may happen, but I think Alaska is kind of anti-touchy so maybe not too much. I hugs from close friends and my fiancee... unfortunately she doesn't have 3,500 mile long arms
