This sounds like my spanish. I can translate spanish to english no problem... that's what my classes taught me. But it is terrible for me to try to compose spanish because I'm never sure what tenses to use and such... my spanish is very broken. I can't wait to do my spanish immersion summer for the Diocese and have one on one spanish tutoring!

Well, I have my plane ticket. I land in Tegucigalpa on Christmas morning. She is going to meet me there on New Years Eve. That's much easier than me going to see her, because it's about a 5 hour bus ride, and I am a gringo who doesn't speak Spanish. Oh, and I recently discovered that it's possible for us to text message on our phones, which is a useful way to communicate other than writing letters that take forever to arrive, and buying a phone card to make an international call. Though I do dislike text messaging on a philosophical level.

Awesome, Era. May I also suggest Skype? It's a great way to keep in contact, and doesn't cost any extra if you're just calling from one computer to another.
