KeenanParkerII Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 This is posted in the open mic because it'd be really nice to see people responding. I dunno if anyone's seen the post about Brianna (check out the prayer room), but if we can get some confirmed prayer warriors up in this joint, that would be nice. Prayer for the Sick God our Father, your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick sister. May all who suffer pain, illness, or disease realize that they have been chosen to be saints and know that they are joined to Christ in His suffering for the salvation of the world. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. I urge you to pray with all solemnity, for Brianna and everyone else in the prayer room. Thanks phatties.
BarbTherese Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) For Brianna and all in the Prayer Room - for those suffering and in any sort of difficulty: REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known in any age that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was abandoned. Inspired with confidence, therefore, I fly to you, Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to you do I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Do not, O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise my petitions, but graciously hear and answer them. Amen. Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us Sacred Heart of Jesus, we trust You Edited February 6, 2010 by BarbaraTherese

Ed Normile Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Dear Jesus, Physician and Healer have mercy on your servant Brianna. Return her to health so that she may be able to be a witness to your power and love and be free from illness and worry to be more perfectly able to worship you and your Father and the Holy Spirit. Most perfect and Holy and Triune God have mercy on this person and free her from her illness if it be in your will dear Lord. ed
laetitia crucis Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest your weary ones. Bless your dying ones. Soothe your suffering ones. Pity your afflicted ones. Shield your joyous ones. And for all your love's sake. In the name of the father, the son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
